Baghdad: The Federal Integrity Commission has warned against the misuse of state resources for electoral campaigning, emphasizing the need to preserve the neutrality of public service during the upcoming elections.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Commission announced the launch of the Code of Conduct for Elections No. (1) of 2025, aimed at regulating the behavior of public employees and officials during the electoral process, in a way that upholds integrity, fairness, and the independence of public office.

The Commission stressed a strict prohibition on vote-buying, offering material or moral benefits, or making promises thereof, considering such actions a clear violation of electoral conduct and a threat to the integrity of the democratic process.
