Karbala: The General Directorate of Intelligence and Security arrested a number of drug dealers in Karbala Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Intelligence Directorate announced that based on accurate intelligence information, detachments from the Karbala Intelligence and Security Directorate, affiliated with the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security of the Ministry of Defense, successfully apprehended several drug dealers and promoters who were operating in various areas of Karbala Governorate.

The Directorate’s statement highlighted that the arrests were executed after obtaining judicial approvals and the issuance of arrest warrants against the suspects.

The arrested individuals have been handed over to the relevant authorities to complete their investigation papers, ensuring that due process is followed in addressing the issue.
