Baghdad Military intelligence Directorate seized a large quantity of shells prepared as explosive devices in Anbar.

A statement by the Security Media Cell stated that: “The intelligence has seized, based on accurate information, a stack of 200 Austrian artillery shells, remnants of the terrorist ISIS, prepared as explosive devices on Al-Khalidiya Island in Anbar Governorate.”

The statement added: “The engineering detachments have lifted the materials and dealt with them according to the applicable contexts.”
