Gaza: Israeli forces have renewed their artillery shelling on the eastern part of Khan Younis city in the southern Gaza Strip. They have also launched intense airstrikes targeting the eastern part of Gaza City.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Israeli army has imposed a security cordon around several areas east of the Shuja’iyya and Zeitoun neighborhoods in eastern Gaza City. This military action follows the Israeli army’s recent expansion of its presence in the region. The army crossed the previously established yellow line-a boundary set following an agreement reached last October-by advancing into the eastern part of Gaza City.
Local sources report that the Israeli forces have changed the positions of the yellow markers, thereby expanding the area under their control by 300 meters. This expansion affects the streets of Al-Sha’af, Al-Nazzaz, and Baghdad, further intensifying the situation in the region.
