BAGHDAD: Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari met with Sudanese Ambassador Abdul Rahim Sir Al-Khatim to discuss enhancing security cooperation between Iraq and Sudan. The meeting took place at the minister’s office, highlighting the importance of strengthening bilateral ties due to long-standing fraternal relations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions focused on a range of mutual concerns and potential collaboration in various security sectors. Both parties emphasized the value of reinforcing friendship and cooperation between the two nations, reflecting their shared history and mutual interests.
