Baghdad: During a meeting with the head of the Sunni Endowment Diwan, Interior Minister Abdul-Amir Al-Shammari emphasized the significant role of religious discourse in promoting a culture of moderation and confronting extremist ideas. The meeting, held at the Minister's office, focused on exploring prospects for cooperation and joint coordination between the Ministry of Interior and the Sunni Endowment Diwan.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Minister highlighted the importance of religious discourse in spreading moderation and promoting values of tolerance and coexistence among the people. He underscored the need to work towards providing distinguished service to all citizens across various regions of the country.

Mishaan Al-Khazraji, the head of the Sunni Endowment Diwan, commended the Ministry of Interior for its efforts in enhancing security and stability. He stressed the Minister's commitment to maintaining constant communication and building a close relationship between the institutions.
