Najaf: Interior Minister, Abdul Amir al-Shammari continued on Wednesday his field follow-up of the reverse transportation process for Arbaeen pilgrims, emphasizing that the implemented organizational plan significantly helped reduce traffic congestion.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Shammari inspected Najaf Al-Ashraf axis and the mechanisms for transporting pilgrims, praising the efforts of the Border Forces and Law Enforcement Command in successfully managing the transportation process along this vital corridor.

The minister also commended the work of traffic units and the implementation of field plans during this mass pilgrimage, stressing that the measures taken positively impacted the movement of pilgrims. He highlighted the high-efficiency transport operations carried out at the Border Forces’ command depot, considering this step a notable achievement for the leadership’s efforts.
