Baghdad: Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari: Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of seven border guards in a tragic traffic accident.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Minister stated that the unfortunate incident occurred on the highway in Anbar province. The seven individuals were members of the 1st Battalion of the 6th Border Brigade, operating under the 2nd Border Region, Border Forces Command. They lost their lives while carrying out their duties.

The Interior Minister conveyed his deepest condolences and sympathies to the families and loved ones of the deceased. He expressed his hope for divine mercy and forgiveness for the martyrs and wished for their admittance to paradise. The Minister also prayed for patience and solace for the grieving families during this difficult time.
