Dujail: The Ministry of Interior has reported that five children sustained injuries in the Al-Jam’iya neighborhood of Dujail district after an unidentified object fell in the area. The incident occurred within the Samarra region command sector.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry released a statement detailing that the event took place at 6:45 PM. The children were injured by fragments from the object and flying gravel as they were in front of their homes. The injuries were assessed by explosives experts.

The statement further mentioned that the children received medical treatment at a local hospital for their minor injuries and were discharged after receiving appropriate care. Authorities have been actively investigating the scene to ascertain the nature and origin of the object.

Security officials have visited the site to oversee the ongoing investigation. The Ministry of Interior has assured that further information will be disclosed as it becomes available.
