Baghdad: The Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday the arrest of 14 suspects and violators, and the seizure of stamps and computers used in forgery in Baghdad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, Colonel Mohammed Ali Al-Hassoun, stated that the Baghdad Rusafa Police Command conducted a security operation and a campaign to track down violators of residency regulations and other violations in various areas of the Rusafa district of Baghdad.

He added that the operation resulted in the arrest of 14 suspects and violators, including one suspect caught in the act, in whose possession 13 forged stamps, 192 stamp molds, and 6 computers used in forgery were seized. Additionally, a warehouse for selling alcoholic beverages was also discovered during the operation.

He indicated that legal measures have been taken against the suspects and violators in accordance with the law.
