Baghdad: The Interior Ministry has officially denied reports of an attack on the home of Brigadier General Ahmed al-Kinani, who serves as the Director of Residency and Passports at Baghdad International Airport. The Ministry addressed these circulating claims on Monday, stating that they were unfounded.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry issued a press release highlighting that some social media outlets had spread news regarding an alleged attack by unknown parties on Brigadier General Ahmed al-Kinani’s residence. However, following thorough investigation and verification, the Ministry confirmed that the reports were false and lacked any basis in reality.

The Ministry further urged the public and media to ensure accuracy in disseminating information, emphasizing the importance of obtaining news solely from official sources.
