Baghdad: The Ministry of Interior announced the seizure of more than 20 locally manufactured drones and the arrest of their possessors in Baghdad. The Ministry stated in a press release that detachments of the Intelligence Agency, specifically the Baghdad/Rusafa Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Directorate, conducted two separate operations leading to the confiscation of the drones and the arrest of four individuals involved in trading them.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrested individuals were found to be trading the drones in violation of regulations established by relevant authorities. During interrogation, the individuals confessed to possessing the drones for trade purposes. The operations were executed following the acquisition of necessary judicial approvals.
