According to National Iraqi News Agency, a specialized Interpol Baghdad team carried out the extradition operation in accordance with legal procedures and in coordination with relevant authorities. The suspects were received and returned to Iraq via Baghdad International Airport, pending their transfer to the competent authorities to take legal action against them.

The Ministry affirmed its continued efforts to track down wanted individuals outside Iraq and to activate international police cooperation channels to bring them to justice.
