Tehran: Iran has openly accused Israel of committing crimes against humanity while criticizing the global community for its inaction. Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei stated that Israel violates international human rights with unprecedented openness and blatantness.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Baghaei articulated in a press statement that Israel operates with a sense of complete impunity, which he claims is the fundamental reason behind the continuation of its alleged criminal practices. He mentioned that the lack of international accountability emboldens Israel to persist in committing crimes against innocent civilians.
Baghaei further asserted that international indifference to these violations results in dangerous inaction, which he described as blatant complicity rather than neutrality. He stressed that the entire international community, including all United Nations member states, holds a moral and legal responsibility to oppose what he referred to as systematic injustice.
He concluded by highlighting the United Nations Charter’s prohibition on the use of force, as clearly affirmed in Article 24, and called for the UN Security Council to intervene to halt the aggression and enforce adherence to international law.
