Iran Confirms It Is Rebuilding Its Nuclear Facilities with Greater Strength

Tehran: Iran affirmed on Sunday its commitment to rebuilding its nuclear facilities with even greater strength, emphasizing that all its nuclear activities are entirely peaceful and aimed at meeting civilian needs and addressing citizens’ problems.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed during a meeting with senior managers in the nuclear energy sector that “our nuclear activities are dedicated to addressing people’s problems and non-military issues. The enemies are trying to promote the idea that Iran is seeking to manufacture a nuclear bomb, while we, according to the fatwas of the Supreme Leader (Khamenei), consider the use of nuclear weapons forbidden.”

He explained that “the knowledge resides in the minds of our scientists, and if any facilities or factories are destroyed, it will have no effect. We will rebuild again with even greater strength.”

The three main nuclear facilities in Iran were targeted by US strikes between June 13 and 24.
