Baghdad Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani said: “The United States is the godfather of ISIS”, in a new response to an Iranian official on the statements of US President Joe Biden, who said: “Iran will be liberated.”

Through his account on “Twitter”, Kanaani said: “The United States was an occupying country, and it was not a liberating country throughout history,” adding: “Wherever the United States went, it brought with it killing, looting and instability.”

In response to Biden, who said, “We will liberate Iran,” before turning back, by saying: “They will liberate themselves soon,” Kanaani said: “What happened in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and others is before the eyes of the countries of the region and the world.”

To conclude by saying: “From the godfather of ISIS, liberation comes in the style of ISIS.”

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi responded to Biden’s statements by saying, “The President of the United States said we are looking for Iran’s freedom.. Mr. President! Iran was liberated 43 years ago,” referring to the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian Biden called for “stop hypocrisy.”

“Mr. Biden, stop and end this hypocrisy, including supporting ISIS,” he said on Twitter.

“Bloomberg” Agency reported earlier today that the US President said during his election rally last Thursday that Washington “will liberate Iran soon,” before quickly correcting what he said.
