Tehran: Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarters has issued a stark warning that the recent US naval blockade and threats against Iranian ships signify an expansion of the ongoing conflict in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the headquarters released a statement on Monday emphasizing that the United States continues to create insecurity in the region. The statement highlighted that the US had imposed an illegal naval blockade on Iran and has been threatening Iranian ships, including commercial vessels and oil tankers, within Iran’s coastal and territorial waters over the past three days.

The statement further warned that the actions by the United States are seen as an extension of the war in the region. It emphasized that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have demonstrated their resolve on the ground and will not tolerate any threats or actions from what they described as a “terrorist army,” promising to respond decisively.
