Qasr-Shirin: The Iranian army announced today the initiation of military maneuvers for its ground forces in the general area of Qasr-Shirin city in Kermanshah province, located in the western part of the country. These exercises are set to continue for nine days.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the governor of Qasr-Shirin city, Mohammad Najafi, urged residents in the western border areas to cooperate with official authorities and avoid traveling to areas designated for the maneuvers. He indicated that more official statements will be issued soon regarding the plans and restrictions related to the maneuvers.

The head of the city’s Security Council stated that the maneuvers aim to enhance military readiness and demonstrate the defensive capabilities of the Iranian armed forces. Furthermore, the exercises are intended to bolster the security of the region, representing the army’s and armed forces’ preparedness to defend Iranian territory against any potential threats.

In recent times, the Iranian army has conducted extensive military maneuvers in the western and northern regions of the country.
