Baghdad: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi arrived in Najaf province to monitor the progress of Iranian pilgrims and the plan prepared for their return. Araqchi was received by Najaf Governor Youssef Kanawi and a number of provincial officials.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Iranian Foreign Minister praised the measures taken in Najaf and at the Imam Ali Shrine, particularly regarding the level of security and service coordination. He commended the efforts made to receive the pilgrims and provide them with the best possible services during the Arba'een pilgrimage.
