Iranian Foreign Minister Discusses Bilateral Relations and Regional Developments in Baghdad


Baghdad: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Baghdad this afternoon on an official visit aimed at bolstering diplomatic ties and discussing regional issues.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baqaei Hamaneh stated that Araghchi’s visit is part of ongoing diplomatic consultations with regional countries. During his stay, the Iranian Foreign Minister is scheduled to meet with his Iraqi counterpart as well as other senior officials. The discussions will focus on enhancing bilateral relations and addressing the latest developments in the Middle East.

The visit underscores the importance of Iraq in Iran’s foreign policy and its strategy in the region, reflecting a continued approach to strengthen diplomatic and political relations amidst various regional challenges.
