Tehran: The Iranian Foreign Ministry has announced that an agreement has been reached with Oman concerning the geographical coordinates of shipping lanes through the Strait of Hormuz.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Iranian media reported that the ministry elaborated on the comprehensive discussions held with Oman. These talks examined various technical, legal, security, and environmental aspects related to the shipping lanes in the strategically significant Strait of Hormuz.
The ministry also confirmed that the joint statement with Oman is in the final stages of review and drafting. However, it cautioned that the process could be delayed if third parties intervene.
