Tehran: Esmail Baghaei, the Spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, has clarified that recent negotiations with the United States were strictly limited to nuclear issues. In a recent press statement, Baghaei emphasized that discussions did not extend to Iran’s regional presence, missile capabilities, or security matters. He reiterated that Iran’s focus remained solely on ensuring its nuclear program is civilian in nature.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Baghaei further noted that the dialogue with the US exclusively addressed the nuclear issue and the lifting of sanctions imposed on Tehran. This statement aims to dispel any speculation regarding the scope of the ongoing negotiations between the two nations.
