Tehran: Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei described the fourth round of indirect negotiations with the United States regarding the Iranian nuclear program as “difficult but useful.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Baghaei wrote on his Twitter account: “The fourth round of indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States has ended. They were difficult negotiations, but useful for better understanding the positions of both parties and for exploring realistic and rational ways to resolve the contentious issues.”

He indicated that the time and place for the next round of talks will be announced by the Omani side.

The fourth round of negotiations between Tehran and Washington took place on Sunday, a month after the start of the dialogue on the Iranian nuclear program, following a two-week hiatus, the longest interruption in these consultations, which are organized by the Sultanate of Oman.
