Hillah: Five people were killed and seven others injured when a car carrying Iranian pilgrims overturned in the Kish area of the Nile district, north of Hillah.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Director of Media for the Babylon Traffic Police, Brigadier General Zaher Mohammed, stated that the tragic incident involved Iranian Arbaeen pilgrims. The accident resulted in the death of five individuals, while seven others sustained injuries.

The injured were promptly transferred to the Hillah Surgical Hospital for medical treatment. Authorities have initiated an investigation to ascertain the causes of the accident.
