Najaf: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, along with Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, has departed Najaf and returned to Tehran. The visit to Najaf included participating in the reception of the body of the martyred Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ali Khamenei, and visiting the shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Iranian delegation’s visit was a significant event, marking the respect and homage paid to the martyred leader. The visit underscored the strong ties between Iran and the religious significance of Najaf, a city known for its historical and spiritual importance.
