Tehran: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian affirmed on Sunday that his country will respond to any aggression against it, noting that Iran seeks to maintain fraternal relations with neighboring countries. Pezeshkian stated that "the enemy seeks to create discord between Iran and other countries," emphasizing that his country "stands firmly against anyone who attacks it and will respond forcefully."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Pezeshkian added that Iran "will not hesitate to respond if the territory of any country is used to attack its own territory or to commit aggression against it," stressing that Tehran will not succumb to pressure. The Iranian president continued, saying that his country enjoys fraternal relations with neighboring countries, but will respond to any aggression it may face.

In another context, Pezeshkian criticized the United States and Israel, asking: "Aren't America and Israel ashamed of killing this number of children, and of the killing of more than fifty thousand children in Gaza?"
