Tehran: The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced on Thursday details of the weapons used in the 42nd wave of its military operations, confirming the continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz to navigation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Revolutionary Guard stated that it deployed missiles of the Emad, Qadr, Kheibar Shekan, and Fattah types during this military wave, alongside extensive use of suicide drones for the strikes.

Admiral Ali Reza Tangsiri, the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Navy, emphasized that the Navy will maintain the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, following orders from Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei. He asserted that the naval forces are prepared to deliver severe blows to any aggressors and are fully ready to address current developments.
