The iranian strait of hormuz authority: The Iranian Strait of Hormuz Authority announced on Sunday the suspension of all traffic through the Strait of Hormuz until further notice. The authority cited recent illegal movements by US military forces in the region as the reason for the decision.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, in a statement, the authority said that passage through the strait is currently impossible, adding that all transit requests will be reviewed once the situation stabilizes.

It further stated that transit permits can only be obtained through its website, urging shipping companies and maritime operators to follow updates and announcements issued through its official platforms.
