Baghdad: The Director General of Mesopotamia Seed Company, Dr. Hadi Hashim Al-Yassiri, hosted the Director of the ACSAD Center, Dr. Nasr Al-Din Al-Ubaid, to explore collaborative efforts aimed at advancing the seed sector in Iraq. The discussions focused on adopting promising wheat varieties that have been successfully tested in the Iraqi environment.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting also emphasized the importance of training technical staff to support the sector’s development. The discussions culminated in an agreement to sign a joint memorandum of understanding on Tuesday, coinciding with the agricultural exhibition.
