Iraq And Bahrain Discuss Bilateral Cooperation In The Field Of Tourism

Baghdad Iraq and Bahrain discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the temporary Chargé d’Affairs for Iraq in Manama, Muayyad Omar Abdul Rahman, met the Bahraini Minister of Tourism, Fatima Jaafar Al-Sirafi, and discussed with her a number of issues concerned with bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism, and explored opportunities that could be exchanged experiences, and the importance of promoting them.

According to the statement, the Chargé d’Affairs discussed the implementation of a joint program for scientific tourism between the two countries, calling for the establishment of tourist offices in Iraq and Bahrain, and the establishment of joint exhibitions.

For her part, the Minister expressed her readiness for bilateral cooperation with the Iraqi Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, and to visit Iraq and meet with the Minister of Culture in the context of strengthening relations between the two countries in this vital field, pointing to the possibility of sending invitations to Iraqi companies to attend exhibitions that are held on the land of the Kingdom.
