Iraq and Chevron Explore Joint Cooperation in Oil and Energy Sectors

Baghdad: Deputy Oil Minister for Extraction Affairs Nasir Aziz and Chevron Vice President for Energy Joe Cook discussed on Sunday prospects for joint cooperation between the Oil Ministry and Chevron Corporation, in line with the government's development objectives.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the office of the Deputy Oil Minister for Extraction Affairs announced that Aziz met with Cook and his delegation. The meeting aimed to explore opportunities for collaboration between the Iraqi oil sector and Chevron, focusing on investment opportunities and project implementation in oil and energy.

The statement highlighted that the discussions emphasized developing the oil industry and maximizing revenues from oil production, aligning with the government's priorities for development in these sectors.
