Iraq and Egypt are discussing ways to enhance joint cooperation in the field of health and medicine

Baghdad The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo and its permanent representative to the Arab League, Ahmed Nayef Rashid Al-Dulaimi, met with the Egyptian Minister of Health and Population, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, at the headquarters of the Egyptian Ministry of Health, today, Sunday.

A statement by the Ministry stated that during the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between Iraq and Egypt in the field of health and medicine, exchange experiences between the two brotherly countries, and enhance them through the exchange of official visits between the leaders and cadres of the two Ministries.

For his part, the Egyptian Minister referred to the close Egyptian-Iraqi relations, and stressed that the Egyptian Ministry of Health spares no effort in providing all its services and capabilities to the Ministry of Health in the brotherly Republic of Iraq.

The Minister also congratulated the Ambassador on the occasion of the formation of the new government and the Minister of Health, Dr. Saleh Al-Hasnawi, wishing him success in his duties, and wishing the government and people of Iraq progress and prosperity, and extended an official invitation to his Iraqi counterpart to visit Egypt, to enhance joint cooperation and activate bilateral cooperation to serve the two brotherly countries.
