Baghdad: Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil Hayan Abdul-Ghani engaged in discussions with Ihab Rajai, the First Undersecretary of the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, focusing on cooperation in the sectors of oil, gas, and energy.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Oil released a statement highlighting that Abdul-Ghani hosted Rajai and his delegation on Sunday. The meeting concentrated on exploring potential avenues for collaborative efforts between Iraq and Egypt in the aforementioned fields.

The talks underscored the importance of strengthening bilateral relations through joint ventures and shared initiatives in oil and gas exploration, production, and energy advancements. Both sides are reportedly keen on leveraging mutual strengths to enhance energy production and contribute to the economic development of their respective nations.
