Baghdad: Commander of Joint Operations, General Qais al-Muhammadawi, engaged in discussions with the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Finnish Army, Sami-Antti Takama, focusing on the exchange of military expertise and the acquisition of technical skills.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Joint Operations Command released a statement detailing that Al-Muhammadawi met with Antti Takama and the Finnish Ambassador to Iraq, Antti Putkonen. The meeting centered on strengthening bilateral cooperation between Iraq and Finland, exploring ways to develop these relations in a manner that serves their common interests. Key topics included the exchange of expertise, acquiring technical skills, and Finland’s role within the NATO mission in Iraq.
