Iraq and Kuwait Discuss Enhanced Border Security Cooperation

Hanoi:The Commander of the Border Forces, Lieutenant General Mohammed Abdul-Wahab Sukkar, held a meeting with Major General Mijbil Fahd bin Shawq, the Head of the Kuwaiti Border Security and Coast Guard Sector. The discussions focused on enhancing security cooperation and coordination to strengthen shared border security.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting was part of efforts to strengthen the bilateral relations between Iraq and Kuwait. It took place at a border point on the Kuwaiti side, where both leaders emphasized the importance of improving coordination and information exchange.

The discussions also covered various topics of mutual interest, highlighting the significance of maintaining communication and cooperation between the relevant agencies in Iraq and Kuwait. This collaboration aims to bolster the security and stability of the border region, serving the shared interests of both nations.
