Moscow: Iraq and Kuwait engaged in discussions on enhancing cooperation in security, counterterrorism, information exchange, and border management. This dialogue took place during a meeting between Iraq’s National Security Advisor, Qassim Al-Araji, and Brigadier General Abdul Nasser Al-Baloul, Deputy Head of the Kuwaiti State Security Service.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting underscored the fraternal relations between Iraq and Kuwait, with a focus on collaborative efforts in various security domains. Al-Araji highlighted the interconnectedness of Iraq’s security with that of the broader region, urging collective efforts to achieve stability and security both regionally and globally.

The discussions also touched upon the current situation in the Gaza Strip, stressing the importance of alleviating humanitarian suffering and facilitating the entry of relief aid into the area.
