Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi and his Lebanese counterpart, Nawaf Salam, chaired talks between the two countries in Baghdad on Sunday, with several ministers from both sides in attendance. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations across economic, political, and security domains.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s Media Office released a statement outlining the talks’ objectives. The discussions aimed to enhance comprehensive and sustainable development while achieving the interests of the Iraqi and Lebanese peoples. The statement emphasized the exploration of prospects for developing partnerships that would benefit both nations.

Prime Minister al-Zaidi highlighted the deep-rooted relationship between Iraq and Lebanon, expressing a strong commitment to further developing these ties.
