Amman: Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein of Iraq and his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan engaged in discussions on regional developments, affirming the depth of the bilateral relations between their countries. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the ministerial gathering in support of Jerusalem and its holy sites, hosted in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted that the meeting focused on regional developments and underscored the robust ties between Iraq and Saudi Arabia. The discussions emphasized the importance of supporting efforts to enhance Iraq's interests and its relations with Arab and Islamic nations. This support is aimed at ensuring that Iraq's territory and resources are not exploited as instruments of aggression against neighboring countries and contributes to achieving development and stability across the region.
