Baghdad: Head of the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce, Abdul Raziq Al-Zuhairi, met with the Serbian Ambassador to Baghdad, Palov Oros, at the Federation’s headquarters to discuss strengthening economic and trade relations between Iraq and Serbia.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on reviewing prospects for joint cooperation, particularly in investment, trade exchange, and the activation of bilateral agreements. The discussions included the possibility of organizing joint economic forums to connect businessmen from both countries, aiming to open new channels for cooperation and expertise exchange.

The Federation President emphasized Iraq’s commitment to expanding international partnerships and supporting the private sector, welcoming economic initiatives that could revitalize the Iraqi market. The Serbian Ambassador expressed Serbia’s interest in enhancing its economic presence in Iraq, highlighting Serbian companies’ experience in energy, infrastructure, and manufacturing industries.

This meeting is part of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce’s efforts to enhance international cooperation and align with Iraq’s aspirations for sustainable development.
