Baghdad: The Council for Private Sector Development, headed by its Secretary-General, Mohammed Sadiq Al-Har, met with the Serbian Ambassador to Iraq, Bratislav Jejel, to discuss ways to enhance economic and investment cooperation between the two countries. A statement from the Ministry of Planning indicated that the meeting, which was attended by several members of the Council’s administrative board, along with a delegation of representatives from Serbian companies, addressed prospects for cooperation in the agriculture, energy, tourism, hospitality, construction, and housing sectors, as well as other priority sectors.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the statement added that both sides affirmed their readiness to strengthen joint cooperation and open avenues for partnership between the private sectors in Iraq and Serbia, through the implementation of investment projects that contribute to supporting economic development and stimulating growth.
