Baghdad: National Security Adviser Qasim Al-Araji and the South African Ambassador to Iraq, Tsilani Mokena, recently discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance cooperation in combating terrorism. According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Chancellery detailed that the discussions took place during a meeting at Al-Araji's office. The statement highlighted that Ambassador Mokena, who is based in Amman, Jordan, engaged in talks focusing on enhancing bilateral relations, cooperation in the realm of counterterrorism, and developing trade exchange between Iraq and South Africa. The statement further noted that both parties agreed to organize a series of mutual meetings involving specialists from the Iraqi government. These meetings aim to exchange information and expertise across several domains, fostering deeper collaboration between the two nations.
