Moscow: The Ministry of Trade discussed economic and trade cooperation with the Representative Office of the Republic of Tatarstan in Moscow. A Ministry statement indicated that the Department of Foreign Economic Relations at the Ministry of Trade, represented by the Commercial Attach© in Moscow, along with a delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq to the Russian Federation, participated in a visit to the Representative Office of the Republic of Tatarstan in Moscow at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Iraqi delegation was headed by Ambassador Abdul Karim Hashim Mustafa, accompanied by the Charg© d’Affaires, the Commercial Attach©, and the Cultural Attach©. The statement noted that this visit comes within the framework of strengthening bilateral and economic relations between the two sides and supporting the role of the Commercial Attach© as an effective tool in implementing Iraq’s economic policy abroad, through following up on investment opportunities, enhancing trade partnerships, and opening new horizons for cooperation that serve common interests and support the Iraqi national economy.
