New York:Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi has emphasized Iraq’s ongoing commitment to fostering constructive cooperation with the United Kingdom.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Zaidi met with British Prime Minister Andy Burnham in New York on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, both leaders discussed various issues of mutual interest and explored ways to enhance the economic and development partnership between their countries. They also reviewed the latest developments and challenges facing the region.

Al-Zaidi reiterated Iraq’s dedication to expanding cooperation with the UK and encouraged increased involvement of British companies in investment and development projects within Iraq.
