Baghdad: Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil Hayan Abdul-Ghani engaged in discussions with US Under Secretary of Energy James P. Danly on the potential for joint cooperation between Iraq and the United States in the fields of oil, gas, and energy.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Oil released a statement indicating that the meeting was attended by US Charg© d’Affaires Joshua Harris, the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Gas Affairs Izzat Sabir Ismail, and the Director General of the Technical Department Hassanein Abdul Latif. The discussions focused on enhancing collaboration between the two nations in the energy sector.
