Baghdad The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, affirmed Iraq’s position in support of the choices of the Libyan people.

The media office of the National Security Adviser said in a statement: “Al-Araji met, in his office today, the temporary Libyan Chargé d’Affairs in Baghdad, Ali Al-Said. During the meeting, they reviewed the political and security situation in the region, and discussed strengthening cooperation and developing relations between the two brotherly countries.”

Al-Araji affirmed Iraq’s position in support of the Libyan people’s choices and overcoming difficulties.

The two sides discussed cooperation in the field of combating terrorism and drying up its sources, exchanging intelligence information on terrorists, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common interest
