Iraq Debuts at International Children’s Creative Arts Exhibition in Shanghai

Shanghai: The Children's Culture House is representing Iraq at the 11th International Children's Creative Arts Exhibition in Shanghai. This marks the House's inaugural participation in the global cultural and artistic event, aligning with the 5th Shanghai International Conference on Aesthetic Education for Children.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Children's Culture House's involvement in the exhibition stems from discussions during the visit of the director of the Shanghai Museum to Baghdad last January. During this visit, potential for cultural collaboration and strengthening partnerships in children's programs and activities were discussed. Subsequently, an official invitation was extended to Iraq for participation in the event.

Dr. Ismail Suleiman Hassan, Director General of the Children's Culture House, expressed that this participation is a significant step towards increasing Iraq's presence in international children's cultural events. He emphasized that Iraq's debut at this international event highlights the House's dedication to enhancing its global presence and showcasing Iraqi culture effectively.
