Baghdad: The “Iraq Development Platform” is organizing the Iraq Energy Conference 2025 in the capital, Baghdad, on January 28-29 at the Babylon Hotel under the patronage of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani. The conference will feature discussions involving key Iraqi and international figures and will see the participation of several specialized companies. The aim is to address challenges and explore opportunities in Iraq’s energy sector, which is abundant in oil, gas, and renewable energy resources. The conference will also cover topics such as the environment, water, and economic diversification.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the event is designed to foster dialogue and collaboration among stakeholders to leverage Iraq’s rich energy resources effectively.
