New York:Iraqi government spokesman Haider Al-Aboudi announced that Iraq has adopted a significant programme aimed at coordinating positions and fostering opportunities for cooperation. This initiative comes as Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi engages in numerous meetings in New York to safeguard shared interests.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Prime Minister Al-Zaidi participated in the United Nations General Assembly’s opening session, where he listened to global leaders’ perspectives while presenting Iraq’s vision for solution development. This vision focuses on energy security and regional stability, grounded in constitutional principles and non-interference policies.

Al-Aboudi emphasized Iraq’s commitment to moving from conflict towards cooperation and integration, reflecting the state’s vision to manage crises and coordinate positions. The Iraqi government prioritizes regional stability and collaborates with global partners to ease tensions, recognizing the region’s importance as a major oil supplier.

Iraq is dedicated to mutual interests and state sovereignty, aiming to play an active role in developing solutions that serve regional and global interests. In New York, the Prime Minister met with Arab and foreign leaders, including the King of Jordan and the Crown Prince of Kuwait, to coordinate positions and promote an open approach fostering mutual interests and cooperation.
