Baghdad: The Omani Embassy in Baghdad announced today, Saturday, that Iraq has opened its land borders for Omanis stranded in Iran.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a document issued by the Omani Embassy stated, “After coordination with the authorities in Iraq, Omanis coming from Iran to Kuwait can cross through the Shalamcheh border crossing in Basra Governorate with a free entry visa.”
