Baghdad: Iraq ranked third on the list of the most expensive Arab crude oil prices within the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) for April.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the average price of Iraqi oil exported last month reached $68.64 per barrel, ranking behind Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. The data indicated that Saudi Arabia’s Arab Light crude oil topped the list with the highest average price of $70.92 per barrel, followed by Kuwaiti crude oil. Algerian Saharan Blend crude came in fourth, the UAE’s Murban crude came in fifth, and Libya’s Es Sider crude came in sixth.

OPEC indicated that the average price of Arab crude oils during April fell to $68.75 per barrel, compared to $73.65 per barrel last March, reflecting a general decline in prices despite differences in the quality and specifications of the crudes.
